Police said Bush, 41, a fireman since 2000, was driving a cruiser south on Union Street at around 2 p.m., conveying his 15-year-old child Jacob, when a vehicle voyaging west on Tenth Street struck them. The vehicle, a Dodge Charger driven by Mohabatpal S. Diout, 30, of Mishawaka, had been voyaging west on Tenth Street and had continued across Union Street in the wake of halting at a stop sign.
